I'm In Love With A... Singer : Nikki Jean

Nikki Jean is an American singer/songwriter.

I first heard her on a couple of tracks off of Lupe Fiasco's 'The Cool' album (btw if you haven't heard that album yet, go buy it now!!!). A sweet voice with no face I could attatch to until I finally saw the video for 'Hip Hop Saved My Life'.

She's a natural beauty with her own style and I don't think I've seen such a perfect million dollar smile in ages lol. She looks like the easy going type that's in it for the fun of it all. I gotta say I haven't enjoyed watching a woman cry this much before (see vid below), happy for her and hope we get to see and hear more from her in the near future.

For all the suckaz out there, here is an update on the always beautiful musical rising star Melanie Fiona.

See You When I Get There... : Brittany Murphy

What terrible news this month as we lost Brittany Murphy. 2009 has been a big hit in the celeb world, but she definetely left too soon.

Brittany Murphy was an American actress and singer.

I remember the first time I saw this gem was in Clueless. By the time I saw '8 Mile' I was hooked. I was disappointed when I saw 'Sin City' simply because she didn't have a bigger role in the movie.

Each movie I saw her in, it seemed like she owned the role. It wasn't Brittany Murphy playing such-and-such character, it was such-and-such character played by Brittany Murphy. It's only recently I was made aware that she used to voice Louanne on 'King Of The Hill' and that she once had a hit club song.

Going from blonde to brunette always looking great with an amazing smile, she made you want to see more of her. Looking like a ray of sunshine. Must be that southern hospitality hailing from Atlanta, Georgia.

Quoted saying : "Home is where my mom is."

Going to miss her, see you when I get there!

Melanie Fiona is a Canadian R&B singer of Guyanese descent.

I don't know much about her, but whatever it is, it seems like she's got it all.

Beautiful full lips, shape of her eyes, soft round curves, nice smile, caramel skin and a mean walk.

From the lyrics in the song posted below, she seems to know what she wants and take a position and stick to it. Always appreciated in a woman!

I'm In Love With A... Singer : Lykke Li

Lykke Li (born Li Lykke Timotej Zachrisson) is a Swedish electronic/pop singer.

First heard of her when I heard Drake's remixed version of her single called 'Little Bit' (as previously posted sucka 4 love music). I ended up seeing the original version of the video on youtube and was struck. You don't get to see her that well, but I just liked the way she moved (though it looks a bit crazy and sometimes uncoordinated lol, see video below). Got me intrigued and digged a bit deeper and saw some pictures of her, like the full lips and the shape of her eyes. She seems like the free spirit type with her own style and all which I'm not always fond of, but it fits her. Sweden might be on my list of places to visit! All I gotta do now is figure out how to pronounce those words with all the funny accents.

Christine Flores a.k.a. Christina Milian is a singer, songwriter and actress of Cuban descent.

She looks like a young Paula Abdul but definitely with something extra. It might be the talent, the sexyness, the softness in her stare, the fact that she looks genuine, the amazing smile, the music that plays when she walks in slow motion.... (uh yeah... can't a brother dream?).

She isn't my favorite singer, she got her hits. She's not my favorite actress, but she worked with some big names. All I know is everytime I see her, I have to remind myself to breathe, she makes me go gaga!

I'm In Love With A... Singer : Shakira

Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll is a Columbian singer/songwriter.

Yup yup, Wyclef was right, her hips don't lie. First time I saw Shakira was on TV during the Latin Grammy Awards in 2000. A fierce fiery haired chica dressed in red belly dancing surrounded by fire... What more can I say, I sat there wide-eyed wondering who I had just seen. Then a year later she came out with an english album singing lines such as "Lucky that my breasts are small and humble
So you don't confuse them with mountains"... just before dragging herself in the mud in the video... ah well, works for me!

Sexy is the word for her, with splashes of exoticness when she mixes latin pop music with arabic styled dancing. Her face, her smile, her lips, curvy hips, curly blonde hair, the fact she has her own style inspired by her cultural background, her eyes when squints them, her confidence, the fact she made a video with Beyoncé (a moment of reflection please... ah, there we go) and pretty much everything else. She's a 10.

Alicia Keys is an American Soul/R&B singer, musician & sometimes actress.

A superwoman yes indeed! She can sing, play the piano and shake it all about at the same time (yeah those hips don't lie). We all knew she had talent when she came out with her first single 'Fallin', but I was afraid she was just a gimmick and couldn't really play the piano. She proved me wrong. This Grammy Award winner is a true hip hop fan at heart and from her latest appearances on award shows, she is all about gathering & unity (see the BET Awards in '08 when she graced us with forgotten musical heavy hitters SWV, En Vogue & TLC). Oh and let's not forget she's down with Reggae & Dancehall too.

I like the fact that even though she got in the business at a young age, she never crossed certain boundaries (Yes, u can be sexy with ur clothes on! Shout out to Chritina Aguilera do you!).

Classy is the word!

Kelly Rowland is an american singer, songwriter and a bad actress('Freddy Vs. Jason' anyone? You can't have it all! Though I think she does have more charisma than Beyonce when acting).

Ms. Kelly is a beauty with the perfect smile. Though I have heard rumors that she went under the knife to "better" her physical image, I always thought she was pretty from the time I saw her perform first part of a Wyclef show before Destiny's Child really blew up. She's the type of girl that is cute but sexy at the same time, which, in my opinion, are two features that don't always mix very well (Sandra Bullock, Mya). From her first album's single 'Stole', you could tell she has an eclectic side to her, which I think is good because it shows she has an open mind and just vibes to what she likes. Though she didn't get the solo success most would have expected from  a former Destiny's Child member (best-selling female group of all time), after two albums, I still think she has potential to make it big on her own. This is a girl that worked so hard she once collapsed on stage due to exhaustion. I respect a hard working woman... but please look after yourself.

I'm In Love With A... Singer : Corinne Bailey Rae

Corinne Bailey Rae is an English soul, R&B, jazz singer.

Besides the fact that she is simply beautiful, I think it's the softness and sweetness in her voice that attracts me to her. She seems pure and private about her business, which is a quality that seems to be losing it's worth amongst women these days or is it just that they are more in ur face with it... that's another debate.

I also love the fact that you can sometimes hear her british accent when she sings ("a look I Kan't describe") with those lips. Damn, she looks good in her lil summer dresses.

Soft lips, soft eyes, soft voice, a natural simple beauty.
